Tragic: Teens Give A Chicago Student From A Rivarly High School A Deadly Beating With Huge Wooden Boards! *Warning* (Very Graphic)
The honor-roll student was three blocks from Fenger High School when, witnesses said, gang members who were in the middle of fight started beating Albert. Students said Albert was a smart, quiet kid who didn't hang out with others and was not in a gang."
Don't Shoot, I Want to Grow Up," and "Stop Killing People," are emblazed on posters held by children who attended a vigil earlier this week for Derrion Albert, the 16-year-old honor student who was beaten to death by a group of teens near Fenger High School on the Far South Side of Chicago. Derrion was on his way home when he was attacked just one week ago. The temperature between two neighboring rival gangs has been increasing all week. Shots had been fired near the school that very morning, but Derrion never intended to get wrapped up into the gang life that has seemingly overtaken his community. His reluctance to cooperate with either gang may have been the reason why several boys swept him up into the fray, punched, kicked and beat his small-framed body with wooden planks until he lie motionless on the concrete lot next to the Agape Community Center. He died at the hospital three hours later. And for all those who did harm him, there were just as many who stood by and watched it happen.
He didnt have to die, noone deserves this! Alot are sayin its the parents fault for not raising these children the right way! yes, i agree but its also a community problem if you know that gangs are everywhere we should protest on saving our neighborhood. Police arent gonna do anything but lock everyone up! but if we as a community stand together and help prevent this. (yes we can!)
